  1.     FidoNet consists of Fidos arranged
  2. into REGIONS and NETWORKs. These are 
  3. groupings to make FidoNet mail more 
  4. effecient, and to make it easier to 
  5. choose the Fido you want. REGIONs are
  6. basically just geographical areas; NETWORKs
  7. are usually in cities. As far as entering
  8. a message goes, REGIONS and NETWORKS are
  9. the same.

  11.     Picking the Fido you want is easy. Use
  12. '/' to list the REGIONS and NETWORKS, then 
  13. pick the right one. (Or a likely candidate.)
  14. Then use '#' to list the nodes (Fidos) in
  15. that region or net. Enter a node (Fido)
  16. number and you are done.

  18.     If you know the specific region/net
  19. and node of the Fido you want, you can enter
  20. it as:
  21.       MM/NN
  22.            Where MM is the REGION or NET, 
  23. and NN is the node number. This way lets you
  24. enter MORE THAN ONE Fido at a time too.
